The writer of the article above says a man would have to be in touch with his feminine side to eat here. Evidently the writer hasn’t experienced the New York Strip Steak. A meal fit for a king !

I think Potpourri house has the best salad bar in Tyler!! Their pimento cheese is to die for!!

Potpourri is the best deal in town!!! Try them for lunch at 11am through the week, especially on Portobello Mushroom soup day!

I received my graduate degree at UT Tyler last Friday, and took a party of 9 to celebrate at Potpourri House. It was wonderful! The service was impeccable…the owner even came over at one point and poured the wine himself. A friend from Dallas could not stop raving about the delicious food. And the desserts we ordered were to die for…a mango mousse concoction and a decadent chocolate rum cake. A member of the band pulled me up on the dance floor to play tambourine. It was a fantastic celebration, and the staff at Potpourri House made it even better.

We had our son’s rehearsal dinner for 60 people at the Potpourri House. Since we live out of state, I thought it would be hard to go over all the details. But, Les, the owner, made everything so simple. The dinner was PERFECT and the atmosphere was just beautiful. We always try to stop in every time we come to visit and enjoy their delicious food and pick up some unique shoppping items. Thanks Les. The Hartmans. Rob, Stephanie, Chad & Leah, Brooke, Josh
