$300 a month to play golf but lots of luck
getting to play. They either have a tournament going so the members can't play or they're working on the greens. No wonder I read that someone was puzzled as to why no one was playing when they drove through here. If you want to buy here, insist on FULL disclosure of the prices including taxes. Our water/trash bill was over $100. It's an expensive place to live. Good food, though.

The clubhouse has a wonderful, old English feel to it. The staff make the place friendly, unpretentious, and inviting.

We're doing a special wine pairing menu with our wines here!

we live here. the country club is nice but not spectacular. Go to Sun City in Georgetown if you want spectacular. This one is nicer on the Outside.
Lots of rules. Small yards. No garage sales or clotheslines or cars parked on the street or barking dogs or yard decorations 'that can be seen from the road.' After living in the country it's stifling. But really pretty, winding roads and mansions and big trees. QUIET. FRIENDLY TO A POINT.
TAxes of 5K per year unlike what they told us before we bought in. $120 a month "social membership" meaning if you want to play ANY golf or EVER go to the pool (no lifeguards)or eat at the club (not cheap) you have to pay. Lots of little boys; haven't seen ONE girl. Distance to substantial grocery? 4.5 miles; same for a great clinic, Sonic and the Goodwill trailer is in the grocery parking lot which is very handy. A dentist and nice gas station is 3 miles away.
If you are retired, want quiet and have no dogs but lots of $$ it's a real nice place to live.
