Was the entire cake green? No. But did it have spots of mold all over the inside? Yeah. And I will give the place any type of review I like since that's what this website is all about. I can almost promise that if you'd had two experiences like I had at another establishment, you would give it a bad review as well. So don't get all offended because I don't like a place you do. I also love the fact that the Bazan family is always at the bakery, I always get the best customer service from Anna! I would recomend the place to anyone for lunch or baked goods. p.s. Sandy, cakes don't mold all the way through they go stale, even at the worst bakeries they won't let a cake sit in a case for so long that it grows mold even on the outside. My best friend recently got married under short circumstances. They were very friendly and accommodating. When the cake was delivered we were blown away. They went over and beyond our expectations. Took it back to confirm that it was mold and was told, yeah, we already had that one made so I guess it just wasn't as fresh as we thought. AWESOME! Yummy! Love me some green mold! UGH. Gave it another try and ordered their little Easter egg petit-fours for Easter. Looked like my 3 year old made them. Not remotely shaped like eggs, inconsistent colors in the frosting, and was that supposed to be a flower or a blob on top? Will I be going back? I don't think so. I had gotten a marble cake (chocolate and vanilla) for my nephews birthday party, we had to feed around 20 people, mainly adults, and about 8 kids. we were afraid that there would not be enough with the size we ordered, but the lady reassured me it was. sure enough, when we picked the cake up, it was not only decoration better then how i pictured, but bigger then expected also. almost very one had 2nds and there was still cake left over! so far best cake ever!! i am very satisfied with every thing Chez Bazan had done!! i will recommend them to every one!
