It sounds like you had a wonderful experience and I want to thank you for spreading the word. I personally poured alot into the event and to hear about it from a first timer really makes it worth it. The Gala serves as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society here in Tyler - we like to refer to it as a "party with a purpose". This one was actually our 23rd Gala in Tyler. Having air conditioning in the tents was new this year. I thought that Lee Ann Womack was awesome too! It was great to have a hometown girl from Jacksonville come to Tyler and play for such a cause.
